The 39th annual Joaq-a-thon, one of the best JM traditions!
Stride With Pride! — Saturday, March 16, 2013, 9:30am – 3:30pm
A day filled with good friends, good
music, and lots of walking!
The Joaq-a-thon is a day-long walking event scheduled in the spring for Joaquin Miller students and families. This activity affords the children an opportunity to raise money for their school. They obtain sponsors who agree to donate according to how far the children walk. For an overview of the event,
download the pdf.
Joaq-a-thon Day is full of challenges and excitement for the walkers, who may earn T-shirts and a variety of awards. The children love this event!

Your credit card information is secure on PayPal, and the JMPTA doesn't store your card number or have access to it.
Corporate Matching
Your contributions can have twice the impact if you participate in your company's matching program. You may even double or triple your donation at no additional cost to you! Click here to learn more about corporate matching »
Volunteering
Each year, parent volunteers are needed to work at gates, hand out popsicles, make buttons, and help check walkers in and out. It is a great way to spend part of your Saturday and the kids will thank you!
Please contact any of the 2013 Joaq-a-thon Coordinators to express your interest in helping make this event an even greater success.
