Spring Fair

An end-of-the-year celebration

Saturday, June 4th - Spring Fair

JM Spring Fair Postponed until Saturday June 11th Because of Possible Rain

Hi everyone, The weather does not look like it’s going to cooperate and we don’t want to have a rainy Spring Fair so we are postponing the event until next Saturday, June 11th. It will still run from 11 until 2 PM. The volunteer signups are wiped clean so please take a look at your schedule and sign up. If there are not enough volunteers by Wednesday, we will unfortunately have to cancel the event for this year. Here is a link to the signup.

The Dad’s Club is on board for next weekend so you can enjoy lunch while you are up at the school. This is supposed to be a fun event for the kids and parents so we hope to see you next Saturday.

Come celebrate!

Come have fun with the whole family at the JM Spring Fair on Saturday, June 4th 11th! We’re combining the event with the garage sale in the Multi-Purpose Room so you get in some shopping earlier. The Spring Fair will run from from 11am to 2pm in the big yard.

This is a fun event that is a way to celebrate the year, but is not a fundraiser. We just try to break even and have a good time! Incoming kindergarten families are welcome to join us and get to know the Joaquin Miller community.

We’ll have the usual carnival games like the 5th Grade Sponge Toss, cakewalk, lollipop pull, and catapoultry along with some new games guaranteed to make the Spring Fair more fun than ever.

We need volunteers to help run the games. Look for signups in the hallway in the next week. We’d love to have some help putting this fun event together so please let Cynthia Frenz (cynthia_frenz@yahoo.com), Dawn Loretz, Christy Simons or Karen Fee know if you’d like to help.

Please note that this year, kids can receive two extra tokens for bringing a recycled bag to for their prizes!

Please contact any member of the PTA board or Dad’s Club to express your interest in helping make this event an even greater success.

7th Annual JM Yard Sale

Saturday, June 4th, 8am-2pm

Overwhelmed with where to stash all those unwanted gifts? Do you feel as though your home could double as a toy store? Now is the time to clean out your closets and make a tax deductible donation to our Yard Sale. We will be accepting donations for several days before the actual event. Feel free to bring whatever items you think might benefit another family. But please, no large exercise equipment and no mattresses.

We need volunteers to sort and price during this collection period and also to help on the day of the Yard Sale. Half an hour or half a day... your help will be much appreciated. It's a fun and easy way to support this annual school fundraiser. Questions, ideas, want to help? Contact:
