Quality enrichment classes
Sponsored by the PTA, the Joaquin Miller Enrichment Program is dedicated to creating opportunities for families to give their children more experiences in the arts and sciences. The classes themselves are run by independent contractors who specialize in their field and in working with children.
Winter Session starts JANUARY 3rd and runs through MARCH 12th.

About changes this Fall
We are excited about the program this year and are bringing 11 new classes to campus this fall. Based on your survey feedback, we are adding classes like carpentry, rock climbing, basketball and creative writing.
Changes This Year:
- New enrichment team - team members and areas of responsibility are listed below
- Return to trimester format - this will enable us to offer a wider variety of classes. Some classes will not necessarily be offered every session.
- Clubs - are not included on the class list and schedule. Feel free to contact us for help with scheduling meeting space.
- Common registration form - to facilitate better communication, we are asking all parents to complete the same form for each class their child is enrolled in. This is how we ensure that the vendor/company/teachers have YOUR contact information in the event of a class change. Teachers may not follow up on this, it is up to you. The registration form will be available on-line as PDF and Word documents for your use or you may pick one up in the office.
- Vendor Expo - please stop by the multi-purpose room after school on August 31st to meet the vendors and learn more about the classes they are bringing to our campus!
Above you will find the Fall 2011 Fall Catalog with registration form for your use. If you have specific questions about the programs, please contact the program providers, their info is in the catalog. Please note that some of the classes listed will not follow the trimester sessions, read class descriptions carefully for dates and known class cancelations.
