Do you have neighbors interested in Joaquin Miller for their kindergartener, but just not sure if they should attend? Do you know other families in the community who would love to take a look at our great school? Now is their chance to visit Joaquin Miller, take a tour of the kindergarten classrooms, meet our Principal, Mrs. Lu, and hear from this year's kindergarten parents. The event is Thursday, November 30, 10:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. They can also have their questions answered and learn what makes Joaquin Miller such an outstanding elementary school.
We will also be providing information on the very specific Oakland Unified School District Options Period, which will run from January 6 - February 2, 2007. Please invite them ( parents only) to our Prospective Parent Fall Open House and Coffee Social in the Multipurpose Room - they will thank you for it! Flyers will be available in the office.
