Montera meeting
"Making the Connection", a meeting for parents of 5th graders planning to attend Montera next year, will be held April 7th, 7-9 p.m., at Montclair School. This group is being organized by community parents interested in joining forces to build more fundraising support and parent involvement at Montera. Childcare will be provided at the meeting. For more details, contact Montclair Parent Scott Ragsdale, 482-8190. We hope to have a good showing of 5th grade parents from JM in attendance.

Dad's club help
Calling all Dads! We still need volunteers for the Dad's Club food booth on the afternoon of the Walk-aThon from 12:30 to 3:00. Call John Wong-Rolle at 530-6175 or email wongrolle@hotmail.com. Also, the Dad's Club will have its next meeting April 20, Tuesday at 6:30pm. Details to come.

Science fair
Science Fair News: The 2004 Science Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, March 17th, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. A student information/instruction packet has already been distributed to students. We ask that all projects be experiments where a variable is tested. Please do not submit demonstrations, models or new inventions. Students in Grades K-3 will be encouraged to participate, whereas all 4th-5th grade students will be required to submit a project.,
