The Science Fair is March 22nd

The 2006 Joaquin Miller Science Fair is Scheduled for Wednesday, March 22nd, from 6:00-7:00 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. Student packets were distributed on Tuesday, February 21. The District's Science Fair will be held March 28-30 at
the Chabot Space and Science Center. We are asking that all projects submitted be experiments—whereby a variable is tested. Please do not submit demonstrations, models or new inventions.

Students in Grades K-3 will be encouraged to participate, whereas all 4th-5th grade students will be required to submit a project, either individually or in groups limited to 4 students. All Science Projects are due into the classroom on Monday, March 20. Thank You in advance for assisting your child with the process of their project, by answering their questions, taking them to the library for research, making suggestions and supporting them as they begin and complete their project using the Scientific Method.
