Khadra International Folk Dancing

January 28, 2002

Students in kindergarten and third grade worked for weeks with dance instructor Lisa Tateosian to learn various types of folk dancing. In this performance for students and parents, they showed their knowledge of Nigerian, Creole, West African and South African dances, as well as the "Charleston,'' the famous American social dance from the 1920s.
