    As part of the checkout portion of the evening, you will be given the option to register your credit card to pay for your auction purchases.   The JMPTA and auction committee strongly encourages all JM families attending the auction to pay for their auction purchases by credit card, whether or not you choose to register your credit card prior to the auction.

    • How does it work?

    Prior to the auction, and up until 7:30pm on the night of the auction, you will have the opportunity to register your credit card.  When we swipe your credit card, all credit card information is securely stored with your bidder number by the software in an encrypted database.  No need to sign any $0 receipts, just present and register your credit card.

    At checkout, you will be asked to verify successful bids, sign your auction invoice and pick up your purchases, skipping the cashier line.  If you decide not to pre-swipe a card prior to or at registration, you will need to wait in the cashier line to settle your auction purchases.

    With qCheck we will be able to accept Visa, Mastercard, Diner's Club, Discover and American Express and there's no difference in the fees we are charged for each card.   We will also be able to accept split payments on more than one credit card - when you register your card just tell us up to how much we can charge on the first credit card, and the remainder of your auction purchases above that limit will be charged to the second credit card you present and register.

    qCheck is powered by IATS, a Ticketmaster company.  IATS provides credit card processing services specifically designed for non-profit organizations like ours, and saves us time and money on the fundraising.
