Joaquin Miller Enrichment Program
The Joaquin Miller Enrichment Program is sponsored by the PTA, which is dedicated to creating opportunities for families to give their children more experiences in the arts and sciences. The classes themselves are run by independent contractors who specialize in their field and in working with children.
Fall session starts September 17 and runs through December 7 (with a couple of exceptions). Download the fall schedule here.
Here are a few highlights
• Lango now offers Spanish on Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon.
• Rhythm Rocks! is a new percussion class that will rock kids’ socks off.
• KidzArt is returning with their amazing art projects.
• The new Podcasting class will introduce 4th and 5th graders to current broadcast technologies.
• The popular Poekoelan class is moving to Fridays.
Lego Engineering will return later in the year.
